Heads of Working groups of MPP and MPRP had been announcing two days ago that parties to create coalition to participate in the 2016 Parliamentary elections and had said that parties agreed in principle to divide the constituencies at 51:25. But MPRP stepped back yesterday.
(April 19). N.Enkhbayar, leader of MPRP considered that the proportion was not yet enough and made a counter proposal to increase their share up to 50% making MPP to name candidates only for 38 constituencies. Twitter was flowing with news that MPP definitely protested and announced their decision to participate in elections independently.

Some strong protestors against the coalition are seem to be happy with this decision as MPP is the first ever party in Mongolia with enough resources to participate in elections which makes the MPP to name all 76 candidates without sharing anything.
