Recommended to have 300 foreign observers during elections The Democratic Institution, Human rights office of the European Security, Human rights organization assigned pre-election research team to work in Mongolia.

The team had been introduced and reviewed the legal environment and preparation of the Mongolian Parliamentary election and had provided recommendation on the need to conduct monitoring from the ESHRO.

The team made public the preliminary results and recommended to have in presence 22 long-term and 300 short term observers for Parliamentary elections. The research team had series of meetings including some Standing committees of the Parliament, Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Legal Affairs, General Election Committee, National Registration and Statistics office, National Human Rights Commission, political parties, media, civil society organizations and other research institutes
