Minister of Environment, Green Development and Tourism met for the 3rd time General Secretary of World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai and agreed the issues discussed during the meeting held in January in Madrid, Spain.

Parties agreed to organize the very first world tourism forum under the theme “Nomadic tourism” in Ulaanbaatar on October 13-15, 2016 together with the World Tourism Organization.

The forum shall allow Mongolia to develop Nomadic travel brand and develop travel packages competitive at international market. Parties also agreed and signed off training of two Mongolian tourism specialists at Asia Pacific department of UN World Tourism for 6-12 months.

Mr Taleb Rifai invited Minister to attend the 6th WG meeting to be held in Iran in April of this year and 1st meeting of Tourism ministers in China in May.
