The General Election Committee held a meeting yesterday (March 23, 2016) and made decisions on some issues related to the preparations for upcoming Parliamentary elections.

The  Committee approved procedures on training of election staff, Election forms, guidelines on preparation of the voting venues, agreed and approved the voting box, voting space, procedure on sealed box for collecting votes, monitoring procedure of NGOs.

The committee also had discussed and finalized the printing, storage, delivery and security of ballot papers.

According to the press officer of the General Election Committee, the committee shall approve and ensure enforcement of over 30 policies and procedures to enforce the Law of Elections.
