Candidates submitted their platforms for elections to the National Audit Office

The General Elections Commission issued a recommendation to parties, coalitions and independent candidates to participate to submit their platforms for the elections by April 20, 2016.

Accordingly 14 parties, two coalitions and 79 independent candidates submitted their platforms to the National Audit office for the review and assessment.

The National Audit office is supposed to review compliance of the platforms for the elections with the relevant legislation.

Coalitions which submitted their platforms include Independence, unity party and Green Party coalition, United Patriot Party with All Mongolia’s Labor Party coalition.

The platforms as we learnt features:

-Civil Will Green Party (with two seats in the current Parliament) developed platform named “Life” which is the continuation of their 2012 platform.

-National Labor Party well known for their split and unification presented “Equal revolution”.

-Independence and Unity party with recently appointed leader MP G.Uyanga established a coalition with Mongolian Green Party which submitted “Public hope – Clean state” platform for the review.

-Coalition of Mongol Conservative Party and Development Program party developed platform called “Policy revolution – 5+3”

-the platform of Mongolian National Democratic Party includes matters such as withdrawal of MP’s immunity protection
