The MNCCI (Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and the Government announces annually the TOP 100 businesses which had made contributions to the Mongolian society and economy.

The 15^th announcement of 100 businesses had taken place yesterday. TOP 10 of 2016 are

2.Oyu Tolgoi LLC

3.Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia

4.Ulaanbaatar Railways

5.Development Bank of Mongolia

6.APU LLC

7.Mobicom corporation

8.Golomt bank

9.Khas bank

Special method is used to select TOP entities and is based on the data provided by Ministry of Finance, General Authority of Customs and Tax, National Registration and Statistical Office.

The TOP 100 extends to various industries, including 31 from service, 18 mining, 10 food processing, 8 banking and financial, 8 of energy, 7 communications, 5 fuel supply, 5 construction, 4 transportation and logistics, 3 cashmere and wool, 1 from agricultural sector.

The selection criteria includes

-profit

-tax payments

-assets

-number of employees

-Income

According to statistics TOP100 entities of 2015 had paid about half of the taxes collected by the state with total value of MNT 2.5 trillion. Number of employees of these entities had increased by 20% comparing to 2015.
