Ambassador Ch.Sosormaa in charge of Chile and Alex Matute Jones, executive director of COCHILCO had signed document to ensure development of cooperation between Ministry of Mining of Mongolia and Copper commission of Chile.

Chile is a global leader of copper with rich resources. The Chilean Copper Commission is a state organization that develops the copper policy of the country and provides advisory services to the Government.

Following the signing ceremony Ambassador Ch.Sosormaa held a meeting with Aurora Williams, Minister of Mining of Chile and exchanged ideas on initiating cooperation between mining sectors of two countries.

Parties agreed to develop cooperation in mining, specifically in copper sector, learn experiences, introduce new technologies and exchange ideas along to carry out cooperation program agenda.
