The annual Supplier recognition award Gobi Gem to acknowledge the performance of suppliers was organized by Oyu Tolgoi LLC in Khanbogd soum, Umnugovi aimag.

80% of Oyu Tolgoi’s total procurement was procured from Mongolia; including 51% of total spend from domestic suppliers. The best Delivery in Full and on Time award was presented to Mergen Chadvar LLC,  Khanbogd khurd named as the best Umnugobi supplier. The best national supplier award was welcomed by Mineral Bag LLC, the best safety performance went to NBIK and Maxam explosive received the Grand Prix, the Best of the Best.
