The Parliamentary elections are scheduled on June 29. According to the legal requirement relocation and movement is supposed to be stopped by April 30 which means that relocation and movement of citizens must be ceased 60 days prior of election date.

Citizens moving to other administration units must register within their constituencies before the deadline of April 30. Officials reported that around 11,000 citizens have been excluded from the district registration but haven’t yet registered with their new locations.

The list of the electorates is posted on the www.burtgel.gov.mn with preliminary list of 2,004,48 citizens registered. Citizens are encouraged to confirm their registration visiting the website. If the information in the website is incorrect, the issue shall be addressed to the statistical office of the constituency as well as to the 1800 1890 hotline of the General Registration and Statistics office

In accordance with the Law on Elections, parties and coalitions shall announce names of the candidates on May 5-9. The independent candidates shall register their candidacy with the General Election Commission on May 5-11. The General Election Commission shall make a decision whether to register officially the candidates.
