Speaker to visit Japan

Zandaakhuu Enkhbold, Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament shall pay an official visit to Japan on June 1-3.

During his visit the Speaker shall meet with T.Oshima, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, M.Yamazaki, Speaker of Councilors and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Speaker also shall attend the ceremony of signing the “Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral cooperation in Labor sector”. The MOU shall be signed between the Labor Ministry of Mongolia and Health, Labor and Social Care Ministry of Japan.

The MOU shall ensure validation of the scope of training the Mongolian citizens in Japan. By today over 1500 Mongolian interns are working in Japan.

He will also attend the signing ceremony of the MOU on Cooperation to support the clean coal technology exchange to be signed between the Ministry of Mining of Mongolia and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. The MOU shall allow Mongolia to implement some projects in coal sector, including exchange of clean coal technology, support joint research, gasification of coal, production of half coking coal fuel.

The Speaker shall visit some plants to learn about new technologies, including the Fukushima’s Nakaso thermal power plant, which had introduced the new technology to produce energy and heat from the coal through gasification. He shall visit producer of all types of PP products, Prime Polymer, located in Chiba. The company manufactures machinery spare parts and other PP products. Another visit includes Shibasaki plant in Saitama where he will be meeting Mongolian interns.

Speaker’s entourage includes Minister of Labor, Minister of Mining, advisors and other officials, reported the Press Office of the Parliament Chancellery.
