Registration of candidates to run from parties and coalitions is ongoing. Political parties and coalitions finalized the list of the candidates on May 27 and submitted the list on May 30 to the Committee.

The General Election Committee shall disclose the names of the candidates by June 7 after review of the documents, including income statement, references from Tax office, Customs etc and to present the mandates to the candidates. So far, the General Election Committee reported that nine candidates, including leader of MPRP, couldn’t be register due to various reasons such as Ch.Davaabayar and B.Surenjav, candidates of DP recalled their candidacy.  J.Dorjdagva, candidate from Mongolian Republican Party failed to meet the criteria, J.Enkhbaatar, S.Sarankhuu, E.Erdenejamiyan, N.Enkhbayar are legally rejected reports the General Election Committee.
