Back in 2013 UB Mayor and Governor’s team renamed the Sukhbaatar (main) square into Chinggis square which had lead to many disputes and criticism whether there is a need to change the main square of UB. Public were in doubt whether is it worth or not. The primary administration court of UB reviewed the decision of the UB City Representatives Council and resolved in 2015 that the decision made by UB Council had violated the law. Apparently the UB City Administration appealed to the court to defend their decision as the appellate court made a resolution to rename the Chinggis square back to Sukhbaatar.
