With the upcoming local elections, the provision of the law states to establish the UB city election committee at least 80 days prior of the election date.

The local elections or the Citizens’ Representative council of the district, soums shall take place in October.

The UB city Citizens’ Representative convened on July 29, 2016 and formed the UB city Election committee.

The temporary election committee shall be consisting of the public and service employees who are appointed from the General Election Committee database. Therefore the committee was established with staff of nine employees with relevant experience.
