The new Government led by PM J.Erdenebat held its first cabinet session on July 27, 2016.

Prime Minister assigned the ministers to review some issues and to present to the cabinet session, including:

- Draft the Government plan for 2016-2020, tied with the MPP platform

- Review and recommend possibilities to reduce the loan provided to seniors

- Review possibilities to reduce the tax up to 1% of entities with annual income of less MNT1.5 b

- Extend the validation date of the newly ratified Criminal Code, prepare law draft on disputing provisions in the law

- Review possibilities to cut the pension age of nomads by five years

- Draft law to renew the export taxes applied for raw materials of livestock origin

- Carry out Student with income program to encourage students to work

- Review the 1072 shares of Erdenes Tavantolgoi to resolve on economic context

- Form a working group to review the purchase of 48% of Erdenet and present the results to the Government
