Joint peacekeeping training “Khan Quest-2016” will be held on May 22-June 4

The Khan Quest organized by the Mongolian Armed Forces and USA Asia Pacific Command dates back to 2003 and turned in the international peacekeeping training in 2006. 

Over 1000 militants from 23 countries participates in 2014 and 1200 of 19 countries in 2015, where China first time sent its military representatives. The training shall involve about 2,000 peacekeepers from 47 countries in 2016.

The main objective of the training is to expand the international cooperation, strengthen the military ties, increase the peacekeeping operations of the armed forces and to establish favorable conditions to set the regional peacekeeping training center.

By today, over 1200 Mongolian blue helmets serve in conflict regions around the world.
