The Constitutional court had discussed the issue of inconsistency and incompliance of some articles of the Law on Courts with Constitution and resolved the existing dispute. According to the decision of the Constitutional court, courts serving 2-3 districts or aimags shall be restructured starting from June 1, 2016.

Primary criminal court shared between Bayanzurkh, Chigeltei and Sukhbaatar districts shall be separated and each district to have Criminal court to cover their area. Decision on funds and resources for restructuring courts will be made by the General Committee on Courts.
