Officials warn the public on expected harsh weather conditions and strong snow storm in coming days. The National Auto transport center announced today to restrict public transportation service heading to Bayan-Ulgii aimag or west region.

Strong blizzards are forecasted tonight (March 4) within the territory of Arkhangai, Uvurkhangai, Bulgan, Selenge, Tuv and Dundgobi aimags, and tomorrow in Tuv, Khentii, Dundgovi aimags. Wind to reach 18-20 m/s in southern region of Umnugovi, Uvurkhangai aimags reaching 24 m/s warned the Meteorology office. The National Auto transport office officially informed today that all the roads exiting UB shall be closed at 21.00.

The office warns the public not to travel out of city until the termination of the restriction. The Emergency Authority also expressly advises public to stay alert to receive timely updates on weather conditions.
