Participants of 3^rd session of the Working group established for cooperation on mineral wealth discussed the policy and terms to provide copies of the geological reports kept at the archive of Russian Geological fund. The meeting held at the Ministry of Environment of Russia.

According to the press release issued by the Ministry “Parties highlighted the importance of the Geological Atlas of Central Asia and adjacent territories with 1:2 500 000 scale to be produced by Russia and Mongolia.  Geological field explorations shall be conducted within the framework of the project” the press release notes.

The meeting observed attendance of the Russian delegation led by Nuritdin Inamov, director of International cooperation of the Ministry of Environment, chairman of the WG and Mongolian delegation led by N.Enkhbayar, director of the Finance and Economic investment department of the Ministry of Mining of Mongolia.

Cooperation between parties is carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Mines of Mongolia from 2010.

Representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Rosnedr, Rosgeolfond, Ministry of Mines of Mongolia, Mongolian mining developers association, MRAM, Mongolian Embassy to Russia.
